How to fit GAS IT SKY fillpoint and accessories to a GAS IT bottle.

GAS IT portable Gas bottles come with the required SKY fillpoint and 2 dust covers/ caps ( one for the SKY fill point and one for the gas outlet tap ) supplied ready for self fitment. It is very easy to carry out and only takes a few minutes.

Firstly you need to remove the existing fill elbow from the bottle. This elbow is used when the bottle is connected to a remove fillpoint. The blue paste is PTFE from when the elbow was fitted and need to be blow out before replacing the SKY Fillpoint.

Hold the valve in the tank and remove the elbow by turning it anticlockwise. you will not need to keep this elbow as it is not used on SKY fill points - Make a note of how many turns are needed to remove the elbow, so you can use the same number when refitting the SKY fillpoint.
