Where not to install a lpg fillpoint

It shows you what items to avoid when choosing the location of the LPG fill point to the vehicle, and by what distance.

As well as the attached diagram showing you not to mount the fillpoint need vents, windows etc, it's important to note that we recommend that you must never mount the 70mm fillpoint box into the gas locker door or on any moving panel.

Whilst it not illegal to fit it in the locker doors we recommend that you never fit it in the door because every time you open the door, or the panel moves, the fill hose will twist significantly and it will cause leaks on the joints between the fillpoint and the fill hose sooner rather than later.

The fillpoint itself does not need to be higher than the tank as the fillpoint has a special one way non return valve in it.
