GAS IT Tank extension kit on Sprinter and Crafter vehicles with 919mm outside cross members

If you have a 2017 and older VW Crafter or Mercedes Sprinter and are using a GAS IT EASYFIT Feeted tank and our Crafter/Sprinter Cross Member Mounting System (GI-TF-067-KIT) but your separately purchased vehicle cross member distance measurements that are normally 550mm apart  ( and used to fix the tank to ) are in fact 919 mm from outside edge to outside edge because the centre cross member is missing ( see picture of underneath vehicle on this product listing ) instead of the standard cross member 550mm outside edge distance, then you need to buy this optional extension kit which comprises of 2 x 900mm lengths of bare undrilled angle iron.

These extensions angle irons are bare steel and come with no holes drilled in them so you will need to drill M10 holes for the fixing of the tank and brackets ( both sold separately) and then coat them in the underseal as required by the NCC CoP 306.  We sell M10 drill bits on our webshop.

2 off 900mm Length of bare Angle Iron extensions - No pre drilled holes.

4 off M10 x 25mm Bolts

4 off M10 Nyloc Nuts

8 off M10 Washers

You will need to drill 8 off M10 holes for tank to mount to the extension kits angle iron and also for the separately purchased Sprinter / Crafter brackets. Please spray all bare metal and tank with a good quality underseal when installed.
