GAS IT Product Warranty

We often get asked what our warranty terms are on GAS IT products and we are very pleased to say that they are very clear and very simple.

All GAS IT products come with a 12 months Warranty from your GAS IT invoice date against any manufacturing defects. If you complete the Warranty form (download it by clicking here), and return it to us by either post or email warranty@gasit.co.uk within 30 days of your GAS IT purchase invoice date, we will give you a Warranty code by return which will confirm your further 12 months - So you get 2 years in total when purchasing directly from GAS IT (from your GAS IT invoice date).

We fully comply with the UK's Consumer Rights Act 2015, so if the GAS IT product should on a rare occasion have a problem and fail between when you buy it from us and the end of your warranty term due to a manufacturing defect then we will happily fix your GAS IT product by replacing the faulty part here at GAS IT HQ. This new part costs and return shipping from GAS IT HQ will be covered by GAS IT. 

But what happens if the fault is not a GAS IT product manufacturing fault and is caused by dirty gas, wear and tear or physical damage? Well, even if it's not a manufacturer defective part that's causing you a problem but being caused by some other 3rd party issue, then we won't leave you to fend for yourself. We will always work with our customers to put your mind at rest and fix the issue for you by not charging you labour costs for the new part you have purchased from us to be fitted here at GAS IT HQ. So, the only costs you will incur will be the actual new replacement part and delivery back to you.

We keep it so so clear and simple because we've always believed that the right product, service and backup counts.

All our GAS IT products have come from known and trusted sources and all have proven to be very reliable because of the simple reason; we buy right in the first place. If we didn't trust our products and know they are safe and reliable then it would be commercial suicide to offer such a simple and straightforward backup and warranty service as we have done since we started in the business.

Oh, and we don't sell or fit cheap Chinese parts. For example; our 2-hole gas bottles are made in Portugal, our valves and fill points have always been German-made, our gas tanks and plus bottles are made in Poland, our fill hoses in Holland, our pigtails in the UK, pipes and regulators from Italy - the same few companies we been buying from for many, many years.

We are so confident in our GAS IT products that if anyone ever visits us here at GAS IT H.Q. you will be able to see how reliable our products are because the small handful of items we've had back to us in the last 25 years (which have been in or out of warranty) are still here on display as proof that our products are second to none when it comes to reliability. Yes, the amount of faulty goods has been so small that we've never sent any back to the manufacturers as its not been worth it.
