The NCC Code of Practice 306 ( National Caravan Council CoP 306 ) includes some good information on fully fitted underslung gas tanks on Motorhomes.

It includes information on the whole pre and post gas tanks install including how to test, commission, purge and also identify what is corrosion and even damage of the tank.
